8 BLESSED years...

...and many more to come!! Keith is the love of my life, my absolute BEST FRIEND, my soul mate, and the most amazing father to our children. He's funny, forgiving (which I need!), puts up with all my CRAZINESS, handsome, loving, and ALWAYS there when I need a shoulder to cry on. Though Keith and I didn't have a traditional beginning know one can deny the love between us. Every day I thank GOD for bringing him into my life!! Because of him I look forward to the future and all the years we'll continue to grow together. I LOVE YOU BABE!!

I survived the Warrior Dash!

I am a Warrior now in case you couldn't tell by my obsessive posting on facebook!! I had sooo much fun and I don't think I have ever seen Keith more proud of me. Our weekend started with taking the girls to College Station to meet up with Memaw and Pawpaw on Friday evening. Then Keith and I enjoyed a nice Italian dinner (carb-o-load..hehe..i love the office) before returning home to get some much needed rest before our big race. Though we didn't sleep much at all (too anxious I guess) we were ready for anything they could throw at us! We met our friends Baker,Riley, Moss,Sarah, Rick and Kim who was my partner in crime with matching outfits and all there and put our war paint on. Keith was in his kilt oh did I forget to mention the kilt?? How dare I!! It was AWESOME and yes I'm talking about the kilt. Keith looked totally natural in it and it stayed surprisingly clean throughout the whole thing. We started the race at 10:30am ran a bit, ran some more and then we finally came to our first obstacle...the slippery slope (mudslide)..it was fun! Next we came to the dark tunnel which was uncomfortable and dark (who'd a thunk it?). Then there was the jump over a wall go under barbwire thingy...the Catherine Zeta Jones spiderweb Entrapment movie thing and yes I looked just like her doing it!

We did a couple different cargo nets, climbed over hay. Then it was time to jump over fire and dive into the mud! I told myself I wasn't going to be a girl about it that I was going to go all out and you know what I did it!! I just went for it and basically did a side/back flop into the mud. I finished got my medal and met my smiling husband! So here are the pics:

St. Patty's Day Parade

The family and I went to the St. Patty's Day Parade Sunday and it was a blast!! The kids got tons of necklaces and candy and I got tons of GREAT photos with my new camera. Eeeek...have I not told you the AMAZING news?? I've wanted a nice camera for a long long time and I splurged and it was delivered amazingly fast last week! Now I just have to learn how to use it off auto. Any who back to the parade...Our good friends live in the Champions area so we met at there house had some really good cheap pizza and then walked a short ways to 1960 to catch the parade. It was awesome to see 1960 (usually a busy busy street) completely shut down and lined with people. I saw some people I went to high school with on a float and we planned a tailgating preparty for next year!

Till next time!!

I HEART Target!!

As with any woman I LOVE TARGET!!! I somehow lose track of time in there and can't ever remember what I went in for so I "have" to walk around the whole store every time. Thus I end up searching the clearance racks at least 2-3 times a week and leaving with a bunch of stuff that I don't necessarily need. Well this time I was in LUCK because I found 3 pairs of the Mossimo Premium Denim Jeans for $14.80! Not $14.80 each but TOTAL...two pairs were $4.28 regularly $19.99 each and one pair was $6.24 regularly $29.99 each...now they may not be the best pair of jeans in the world but I just couldn't pass up that kind of deal. They fit great and look cute too!

Let's see...what else has been up with us?? Parker lost another tooth last Friday! This is #7 and she is so excited.

She also got a new bike which means Kenna got a "new to her" bike too!

Kim and I, as well as our entourage, have been meeting up every Wed. to prepare for the Warrior Dash coming up in 2 weeks. Not sure why we agreed to do this but it looks like we're stuck now! LOL!! It should be lots of fun and at the very least it will be one of those once in a blue moon weekends where we are sans kids.

Exciting news for me...I am now on Etsy under the name ParKen Designs. I'm still trying to find my niche in the Etsy world but I'll keep trying and see what works best for me. If you have any ideas on stuff you would like to see PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know!!

We celebrated our friends Rick and Jeff's birthday and it was a Fiesta theme. We had a blast and the girls were obsessed with the fake mustaches.

The next day my friend Vanessa and I threw a small baby shower for Bridget and Ben. There was good conversation and she got some great items for "B3".

That's all for now.
