While we had Kenna busy with Soccer we had Parker in her first year of Volleyball! It was really exciting and cute to see the 35 or so girls all trying to serve the ball over the net at the same time. Saying the practices were a mad house would be a major UNDERSTATEMENT!! Yet somehow the girls were improving each week and the coaches did a great job giving out easy to do "homework" for all of them to practice.
Parker really like volleyball so of course we just couldn't resist taking her to an Aggie Volleyball game. Texas A&M University is only a short drive for us and they offer this FANTASTIC program for all the Aggie kids called the Junior Aggie Club that lets the kids in free to a lot of sporting events.
Memaw and Pawpaw met us in College Station and Parker even took her sweet Best Friend, but before we could head to the game we had to make a pit stop at the mall to let the girls do a little shopping at this ridiculous kiosk that has tons of headbands, bracelets, earrings, bows, necklaces, and other fun girly stuff all for only $2!!! That's right you heard me $2!!! We also went into Aggieland Outfitters to pimp the girls out in ADORABLE Aggie shirts (as if they don't have enough) and by the time we left we were starving. So we stopped into BJ's Brewhouse to get a bite which has the ABSOLUTE BEST cheese sticks in the entire world. Yet somehow when we finally got to the game the girls were still starving so it was popcorn and candy to go around. The girls had a blast cheering for the Lady Aggies and with the big WIN we decided in true Morgan fashion we had to celebrate with froyo. All in all it was an amazing little trip and really helped inspire Parker to try her best at practice. Enjoy the pics from Volleyball and the Aggie game!!
