I HEART Target!!

As with any woman I LOVE TARGET!!! I somehow lose track of time in there and can't ever remember what I went in for so I "have" to walk around the whole store every time. Thus I end up searching the clearance racks at least 2-3 times a week and leaving with a bunch of stuff that I don't necessarily need. Well this time I was in LUCK because I found 3 pairs of the Mossimo Premium Denim Jeans for $14.80! Not $14.80 each but TOTAL...two pairs were $4.28 regularly $19.99 each and one pair was $6.24 regularly $29.99 each...now they may not be the best pair of jeans in the world but I just couldn't pass up that kind of deal. They fit great and look cute too!

Let's see...what else has been up with us?? Parker lost another tooth last Friday! This is #7 and she is so excited.

She also got a new bike which means Kenna got a "new to her" bike too!

Kim and I, as well as our entourage, have been meeting up every Wed. to prepare for the Warrior Dash coming up in 2 weeks. Not sure why we agreed to do this but it looks like we're stuck now! LOL!! It should be lots of fun and at the very least it will be one of those once in a blue moon weekends where we are sans kids.

Exciting news for me...I am now on Etsy under the name ParKen Designs. I'm still trying to find my niche in the Etsy world but I'll keep trying and see what works best for me. If you have any ideas on stuff you would like to see PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know!!

We celebrated our friends Rick and Jeff's birthday and it was a Fiesta theme. We had a blast and the girls were obsessed with the fake mustaches.

The next day my friend Vanessa and I threw a small baby shower for Bridget and Ben. There was good conversation and she got some great items for "B3".

That's all for now.

Collages Galore!

Wonder what we've been up too?? Well here's just a little breakdown of the past 6 months in case you missed us and I know you did!

Our friend Kate took some family pictures for us. She's so talented!!:

Parker started 1st grade. :(

Parker also became a cheerleader and even wore mommy's school colors from when I was a cheerleader!

SEE!!

Kenna became a star soccer player and daddy was her coach! Go Argentina!

Kenna went to a Princess Party with her cousin Taylor: (Aren't they just ADORABLE!)

The girls had a slumber party with their best friends for "bring a friend to church/pj day": They're so silly :@)

We visited the pumpkin patch in our new shirts that mommy made us!

Parker turned 7 years old and I can hardly believe that it's been that long:( We also welcomed a new member of the family her name is Kitty and she's a cute little hamster oddly enough.

Parker and Kenna both went as witches for Halloween this year and they got tons of candy:

The girls joined our church choir and got to sing at Bethlehem Village. They both did a great job but I'm especially proud that Kenna kept singing even after the big microphone fell on her!

The AMAZING voice and dance moves of Kenna!

And here's the SWEET stylings of Parker!

We made a lot of treats and it seemed this year that the girls spent more time in the kitchen than I did!! Look at how cute they look in my aprons. Momma needs to make them some cute ruffly(SP?) ones don't ya think!

We had a blessed Christmas that included all of our family traditions of new ornaments, pot roast dinners, Twas the night before Christmas, cookies, and celebrating our faith as a family together!

Our good friends had their 3rd child and it's a boy so I made another cute car seat for him to ride in style!

Welcome to Aggieland!

Over the holiday break we took a little day trip to College Station to take the girls around campus and eat at the Chicken. It was really cold out but the girls were troopers and listened to all the info daddy had for them until he told some story about a ghost and then that's all they wanted to hear about. Daddy where's the ghost? How did the ghost get there? And to top it off when Keith asked them if they wanted to attend A&M in the future they were too freaked out to answer yes cause they were worried about the ghost that may or may not haunt them while their sleeping. We walked a lot, laughed a lot, took a lot of pictures and the highlight of the trip was when they got to run around the giant Texas A&M logo on the floor by the old basketball court. Hope you enjoy the pictures of our fun filled AGGIE day!

"Jump in your CAR come as you ARE"

Last night we had an amazing night at the DRIVE-IN THEATER!! It was a great way to spend a Sunday night with the family. We literally jumped in our car and came as we were, pj's and all. For $18 that's right you heard me $18 we saw not one but two new movies. We got to the Showboat drive-in at about 7:30 (even though the 1st movie didn't start until 9:00) just to be sure that we got a good spot, could get some food, and get settled in for the movie to begin. There isn't much to the place but an open gravel filled land with ramps to park you car at an incline and a large screen. There was a wide range of movie goers from families to elderly couples enjoying the nostalgia of it all. The food which is a large part of keeping the place running was reasonable priced and really delicious. The bathrooms were clean, staff friendly and the sound and picture quality of the movies were great!! We saw "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" 1st and then "Toy Story 3" started after a small intermission. Though we didn't get home until 1:30 in the morning the girls were troopers and when we asked if they wanted to leave after the first movie they insisted we stay for "Toy Story 3". Kenna's been a bit fussy today even though she slept in, but we'll take a nice long nap while it's storming out and all will be right in the world!!!

The girls were in silly moods when we got there can you tell??

That's more like it now we're settled for the first movie to begin!!

Time to stretch our legs and wait for the next movie.

There's still a LITTLE silly left in them!

Time for "Toy Story 3"!! p.s. I cried like a baby.

All in all it was a great family fun experience and we'll definitely be back!!!

It's MY birthday

Wow! I can't believe another birthday has come and gone in the blink of an eye again. Growing up being an only child my birthday was kinda a big deal but things have definitely changed now. Sure I get excited about it, but I can't remember the last time I counted down the days to MY day. Now it's just like any other Thursday with grocery shopping, waiting for the stupid Sear's guy to never show, and Keith doing the yard (his Thursay ritual). Only now I get woken up in the morning by this:

this:

and this new duet:

Also there was a cake made by my girls so with that and the sweet wake-up call all in all I had a great day!

Please excuse the hair and no make-up it was one of those days! HAHA!
